A Few Helpful Notes

I have provided two sets of directions below, just in case you miss the building and need to approach it from another angle.   I have also used large text so if you print this out and try and read it when you are driving you won't need a magnifying glass.

If you need to ask for help ask for Los Nietos Viejos,  Calle de Progresso 19 and Miguel Llagostera.  Do not expect the locals to know where or what the Alpha Centre is.  If you ask for the Church you will be directed to the Catholic Church in the Village. 

There are no signs apart from on the gate of the building, we have tried to put up signs but they are just taken down after a few days by the locals, many of whom still think any church other than a Catholic Church is a cult.

From Murcia/San Javier Direction

1. From the AP7 (Murcia/San Javier) follow signs to La Manga. 

2. Take Exit 800 to La Manga MU312. 

3. Take Exit 6 to Los Nietos & La Union

4. Turn left at F43 towards Los Nietos (Calle Santiago)

5. Turn Left after about 2 km (Calle del Progresso) just after a sign which says "Bienvenidos a Los Nietos"
(There is also a small sign saying Feve - this is the local train)

6. Follow this road around a tight right hand bend (there is a turning to the left - ignore this)

7. There is a block of modern mustard coloured houses on the left hand side of the road.  Turn to the left to take the road between these buildings.

8. The Alpha Centre is at the end of the road on the left hand side.  It is a cream coloured metal building with a flat roof.

From Los Alcazares & Los Urrutias

1. Take the F34 which passes through Punta Brava, Los Urrutias and Estrella de Mar.

2. As you approach Los Nietos you will pass a train station on your right

3. Follow the road to the end (~1km) and bear round a 90 degree bend to the left (second train station on your right)

4. Almost immediately follow the road around another 90 degree bend to the right (opposite the village square)

5. Drive along the street and follow the road around another 90 degree bend to the right.

6. Follow this road over the pedestrian crossing (traffic lights) next to the school.

7. Just outside the village take the first turning on the right (Calle del Progresso) with a small "Feve" sign (this is the local train) or take the second turning on the right (after about 1km) and follow the directions from instruction 6 above.

8.  Follow the road for about 1km you will pass a station on the right hand side.

9.  Keep following the road which bends to the left and pass a number of houses. 
(Pass by two landmarks on the left hand side; a bright blue house, an old round store house)

10.  On your right you should now see ahead of you some modern mustard coloured buildings.  Take the road to the right which leads between these buildings.

11. The Alpha Centre is at the end of the road on the left hand side.  It is a cream coloured metal building with a flat roof.
