Renting Equipment from Aqua Adicta

Prior booking is required for all equipment.  Minimum rental time is normally 2 hours.  1 hour rentals are sometimes possible and cost 10€ less than the 2 hour price.

A deposit of 50€ per item and a passport are required for each rental

Kayak Rental

Kayaks are available to rent to anyone and do not require prior knowledge,
however you must be able to swim.

Dinghy & Windsurf Rental

We offer rental of sailing dinghies and windsurf equipment to experienced sailors.  We would normally expect RYA Level 2 or equivalent and regular sailing experience.  The sailor must be able to competently sail around a triangular course unassisted before they are deemed safe to sail alone.   

If you wish to sail a double-handed boat you must have competent crew onboard i.e. someone who can control the jib, knows what to do in event of capsize and can helm the boat in an emergency.  The ratio of children to adults must be no more than 2:1.  The children must be strong swimmers and over the age of 6.

Need a Refresher?

If you have not sailed for some time, or you have just taken a sailing course and have little other sailing experience, you will need to book up a lesson or a course to ensure that you can sail to the required standard before we will let you out alone.  The wind strength on the Mar Menor can change very rapidly and we must ensure that you are safe.

Many people come to us asking to rent equipment and do not have the necessary sailing experience.  At the bottom of this page I have provided some scenarios.  These will enable you to assess whether you are ready rent equipment from us or not and how many lessons it will probably take you to reach that standard.

Rental Conditions for Boats and Windsurfers

• Only person(s) qualified to sail the boat or windsurfer may do so.

• Other persons in the boat may only act as crew and not helm.

• You may not instruct other people using equipment rented by Aqua Adicta.

• Prior booking is always required.

• A deposit of 50€ per item and a passport are required for each rental.
